Whether you view him as an unrepentant wife-beater or a redeemed, flawed man, there’s no question that the late Ike Turner knew his way around rock and soul.

Here’s a holiday cut from the Ike & Tina Turner days, with the kind of tight-ass groove that will make you wiggle in your office chair. It’s from the excellent holiday comp Cool Yule, a recent favorite, which is also out of print (goddamnit), otherwise I would link to it.
